How Our Tailoring Service Works:
- Choose your style and size. Opt into tailored fit on the product page for a fully custom experience - you'll email directly with Kat.
- Add measurements at checkout. Enter bust, waist, hip, and height in the notes field, or reply to your confirmation email with this information.
- We'll reach out. Kat will reach out to discuss your measurements and any adjustments.
- Finalize your custom details. We write everything on our cut list.
- We cut and sew your piece. Made-to-order in our Raleigh studio.
- Inspect, pack, and ship. Your perfect piece is on its way!
Taking Your Measurements
Bust
Take your bust measurement by having a friend wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your upper torso.
Wear your usual bra and measure with your arms down and relaxed.
Waist
Have a friend wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso (usually a couple inches above your belly button). This is typically where our pant styles should sit, as most of them are high-waisted).
Hip
Have a friend wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your bum, parallel to the floor.
Height
Your full height is a helpful measurement. In addition, describing your proportions can add accuracy to fit (ie "I have a shorter torso and longer legs").
*You'll be happy to know that tailored garments CAN be exchanged, unless you've ordered a custom color garment.
